You can expect that work will be graded promptly, that you will be treated fairly, that I will be prepared, friendly and enthusiastic. You will also get many opportunities to learn in a variety of ways. In return, I expect students to follow classroom rules and guidelines, to be prepared for class, to be responsible for their actions, to try their hardest and to have a positive attitude.

is unfair, whisper to me, “I’m not sure that’s fair,” and we will talk.
